Brandon

Brandon, Florida is a suburban community located east of Tampa. Brandon has been developing rapidly and attracting new residents since the 1980’s and its growth is likely to continue.

Commuters are attracted to Brandon because of the easy commute to Downtown Tampa and to MacDill Air Force Base.

Other residents find that Brandon has all the amenities that Tampa has to offer and find it a great place to live, work and play. It is easily accessible from Interstate 4, Interstate 75, State Road 60 and the Crosstown Expressway.

Brandon Neighborhood

The homes in Brandon are a mixture of single family homes and townhomes, with ranch and contemporary designs as the primary style of architecture.  Additionally, small pockets of Victorian, Mediterranean, Custom, Cape Cod and

Bungalow style homes are scattered throughout the Brandon area. For upscale living in Brandon, you may want to check out the homes on Bell Shoals Road.

For families with young children, consider communities near Lakewood Drive, East Brandon Boulevard and West Bloomingdale Avenue. These communities are close to the many elementary, middle and high school campuses within Brandon.  

Brandon Attractions

Although Brandon mainly consists of chain restaurants, there are some popular, locally owned restaurants and bars too. 

Campbell's Dairyland

A local dive that serves basic American eats like hotdogs and burgers. But it's most known to local Brandon families as THE place to go for ice cream and sundaes.    

 

 

Babe's Pizza

Famous for their double-decker pizza pies. This long standing pizza joint offers a bit of nostalgia to Brandon residents who have been enjoying their pizza for more than 30 plus years.

 

 

Beef O' Brady's

A family-oriented bar and grill restaurant chain located throughout the southern U.S. Did you know that Brandon is the birthplace of the first Beef O' Brady's location? 

 

O'Toole's Irish PuB & Restaurant

A classic Irish pub recognized amongst Brandon locals for its good food, live music and a perfectly poured pint of Guinness!  

 

Fox & Hounds British Pub

Brandon's oldest pub. Its relaxed and friendly vibe are reasons why Brandon locals frequent here. Channel your inner rock star at the weekly open-mic and karaoke nights. They also offer a full English breakfast on Sundays.

Moreno Bakery

You will want to eat everything in site! This old fashioned bakery is the perfect place in Brandon if you're yearning for something sweet to eat. They also serve hot food for those craving authentic Cuban cuisine.   

 

The major shopping outlet is Westfield Brandon Mall located in the heart of Brandon.  It is one of the largest enclosed shopping centers in the Tampa Bay area.

 The Salt Grotto is a health spa that offers ultimate relaxation through their multiple therapy salt rooms, infrared sauna, and therapeutic massage.      

Chuck's Natural Fields is a natural health food store. It's a one stop shop for the health conscience Brandon resident to purchase their groceries, grab a bite to eat at the organic cafe, and step away from the hustle and bustle of life by steping into its very own salt cave.     

   

 

As for clubs, museums, concerts and other activities, one would have to venture further out to South Tampa, Channelside and Ybor City.

Brandon is within an hour's drive to the Florida gulf coast beaches, allowing visitors and residents take a short day trip over to the coast and enjoy the sun and sand.

Busch Gardens is about a 30 minute drive from Brandon.  Disney fans, on the other hand, will be able to reach the Walt Disney World Resort in about an hour's time.

Tampa International Airport is about a 40 minute drive from Brandon, depending on traffic.
